Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Todd Horton has joined Mountain States Medical Group Trauma Services.
Horton received his doctor of surgery and medicine degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine, Los Angeles. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Horton completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
He is a 14-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, most recently serving as staff orthopedic surgeon/director of surgical services for the Combined Joint Task Force — Horn of Africa, Expeditionary Medical Force 13, Camp Lemonier, Djibouti.
Horton is on the teaching staff and director of the Hand and Upper Extremity Division of Orthopaedics and Trauma at Johnson City Medical Center, a clinical associate professor at East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine and a clinical adjunct professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
