Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert H. Boyce, FAAOS, has joined Mountain States Medical Group Trauma Services.
Boyce received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, where he also completed his residency. He completed a fellowship in AO/ASIF orthopedic trauma surgery at the University of Oklahoma, Tulsa; and in spinal surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Boyce is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the North American Spine Society, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
He has elected to complete two additional years of fellowship training in subspecialties of orthopedics beyond the required five years of residency training. He has particular expertise in the treatment of complex fractures of the joints, pelvis and hip socket, as well as limb salvage surgery.
