West Market Dollar Tree robbed again

A Johnson City retail store was robbed Sunday night for the second time in less than a week.
Johnson City police were called to the Dollar Tree at 3101 W. Market St., Suite 200, about 8:30 p.m. Sunday. The night manager told police a man dressed in dark clothing with a blue bandanna covering his face approached him as he was leaving the store, according to a news release.
Police said the robber was holding a knife and took the deposit bag before fleeing on foot behind the store.
The robber was described as a slim white man with a tan complexion, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The same store was robbed about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. Employees told police a man had assaulted two employees inside the store and taken some cash.
That night, the robber was described as about as a slim white man, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 20-30 years old, and having short brown hair and a dark complexion. He was wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, a dark-colored long-sleeve T-shirt and dark pants.
