MOUNT CARMEL — A Hawkins County man who was wanted by police in relation to an alleged road rage incident that occurred Aug. 24 is facing additional charges related to a parking lot rage incident that occurred when he attempted to turn himself in Tuesday.

Tuesday evening shortly before 6 p.m., Donald Wesley Fields, 44, 914 Holliston Mills Road, Church Hill, arrived at the Mount Carmel Police Department on Hammond Avenue to turn himself in on a felony reckless endangerment warrant.

MCPD Officer Ken Lunsford told the Times-News Thursday that Fields had apparently become irate with Central Dispatch because there was no officer there to meet him.
