KINGSPORT — A Kingsport Police Department officer working a plainclothes burglary detail on Sullivan Street on Sunday cited a Kingsport woman for prostitution after he offered her a ride in his car, and she allegedly offered him sex in exchange for cash.

According to a KPD report, Marty A. Mullins, 32, 801 E. Sullivan St., waved at the officer while standing at the corner of Watauga Street and Church Circle, so the officer pulled over and asked if she needed a ride.
