Woman charged with forging documents at Johnson City store

A Jonesborough woman was arrested on charges that she forged business documents for personal gain at a Johnson City retail store where she worked, police said in a news release.
Michelle L. Parker, 38, 628 Summit Drive, Jonesborough, was charged with two counts of forgery and two counts of theft under $500.
Police said Parker was arrested after forged documents were discovered at The Dollar Tree in Johnson City where Parker was employed. A Dollar Tree representative told police Parker had forged the documents to gain funds from the business.
Parker was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $4,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.
