KNOXVILLE — A speeding offense in Roane County prompted a 90-minute chase Tuesday night that covered four counties before state troopers arrested two Mississippi teens.
The unidentified boy, 15, and his 14-year-old girlfriend were taken to a hospital for examination after crashing in Sevierville, Tennessee Highway Patrol Lt. Jessie Brooks said this morning.
"He's facing a variety of charges and about four felonies," Brooks said of the juvenile boy. "He tried to head-on crash a couple of our cars."
No troopers were injured during the pursuit, he said.
