MORRISTOWN — A woman has been charged with helping her teenage son make a bomb threat to his high school, police said.
Teressa Williams, 40, was charged with criminal responsibility for assisting her 16-year-old son in making the telephoned threat to East High School on Monday morning, authorities said. Charges are pending against the boy, whom investigators have been unable to locate as of this morning.
Williams is accused of assisting her son in making the threat after he lost an appeal to his recent expulsion from school, according to the Morristown Police Department.
Williams is currently being held in the Hamblen County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
