ELIZABETHTON — With 20 wins over the last two seasons, Elizabethton has once again established itself as a Northeast Tennessee powerhouse.
And with McKenly Berry returning at quarterback, the 2011 season figures to be another strong one for the Cyclones.
“I think expectations continue to grow,” said head coach Shawn Witten, who enters his fifth season with a record of 29-20. “We’ve had back-to-back seasons in the state semifinals, so winning is expected. This year’s group has to grow and mature quickly. We have all the pieces, but we have to get a lot tougher.”
