Johnson City man charged with assaulting wife

A West Locust Street man was arrested Tuesday on accusations that he choked and beat his wife during an argument, Johnson City police said in a news release.
Isaac Stone, 33, 514 W Locust St,. Apt. 3, was charged with aggravated domestic assault.
Police said Stone's wife alleged that he had choked her and struck her with his fists during an argument.
In a court document, police said Holley Stone reported that she and her husband had argued over a drawing of his she thought was trash.
She told police he had grabbed her by the throat, thrown her down and punched her in the face and back before finally releasing her and leaving for work.
Stone was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $25,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Sessions Court.
