The accounting department at Tri-Cities Regional Airport has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association. This marks the 12th year TCRA has received the award for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report provides information on the structure, personnel, economic situation and finances of the airport, including an independent audit and statistics for key financial indicators. This is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting. The report preparations were a joint effort between TCRA and the auditing firm of Blackburn, Childers & Steagall.
