Benjamin Gross, Pharm.D., BCPS, CDE, of Johnson City was selected as Tennessee’s “Distinguished Young Pharmacist” in recognition of practice excellence and outstanding contributions to pharmacy and the community.
The award was presented in a ceremony during the 124th Annual Convention of the Tennessee Pharmacists Association held recently in Kingsport. Gross is a clinical pharmacist for Holston Medical Group and an assistant professor for the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. He received his B.S. from Murray State University and his Pharm.D. degree from for the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy.
Gross completed a specialty pharmacy residency in primary care with the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and Holston Medical Group. He is a member of the Tennessee Pharmacists Association, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Gross and his wife Brooke, also a pharmacist, reside in Johnson City.
