Bryan Booher, a 19-year veteran of the banking industry, has been promoted to senior vice president and senior lending officer at Highlands Union Bank, a community banking system that serves parts of Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Booher joined HUB in 2004 as a commercial loan officer and was promoted to vice president and senior credit officer in 2007 with oversight of all credit processes for the banking system’s 14 locations.
In his new position as senior vice president and senior lending officer, Booher serves on the bank’s senior management team and has responsibility for the system’s lending function in all its market areas. His tasks include directing loan policies, managing the profitability of the loan portfolio, new business development and supervising the lending staff.
Booher will continue to work out of HUB’s headquarters in Abingdon, Va. He is a graduate of East Tennessee State University and the Southeastern School of Banking and Southeastern School of Commercial Lending. He has worked in various capacities in the banking industry since 1992.
