Body of man who jumped from cliff found in quarry

HARRIMAN (AP) — Divers have recovered the body of a man who jumped more than a hundred feet into a Roane County rock quarry.

Authorities were told the 35-year-old man didn't resurface after a 120-foot plunge from a cliff into the water Sunday afternoon, according to The Knoxville News Sentinel (http://bit.ly/qpKHUV).

Divers located his body in about 25 feet of water about 90 minutes later.

The Harriman Police Department is investigating the incident.
