August 10th, 2011 8:29 pm by Staff Reports

East Tennessee State will be the host team to three Atlantic Sun Conference tournaments this season, the league announced as its released its full schedule and locations list on Tuesday.
ETSU was approved recently to play host to the men’s and women’s tennis championship, and will also be the site of the indoor track & field and men’s soccer championships.
The men’s soccer tournament will see a shift in format. All games will be played at Summers-Taylor Stadium instead of the regular-season champion’s field. Games are scheduled to be played on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Nov. 9-13.
The tennis championship will be held April 21-22 at Buddy Hartsell Courts on the ETSU campus, while the indoor track & field meet will be Feb. 18-17 at the Mini-Dome.
Stetson will play host to two tournaments. The baseball championship will be at Conrad Park and the Hatters will serve as hosts for the women’s golf tournament at Venetian Bay Golf Club.
The Legends Course at Chatea Elan in Gwinnett, S.C. will be the site of the men’s golf championship with Kennesaw State serving as host.
The A-Sun volleyball tournament will be in Nashville for the third straight year, but Lipscomb rather than Belmont will be the host for the first time in program history.
Mercer will again host the basketball tournament at University Center for a third straight year.
