ELIZABETHTON — An animal attacked a parked car over the weekend, causing several hundred dollars in damage.
James H. Anderson, 178 Warrior Lane, Johnson City, called the Carter County Sheriff’s Department after he noticed his 2008 Lexus RX 350 had been damaged while parked in his driveway over night.
Sgt. Dean Jones noticed the liner of the driver’s side front fender had been torn from the fender. The bumper had also been torn from the fender. Jones also found teeth marks on the fender.
Anderson said he had experienced previous problems with some dogs and raccoons in the area.
