BRISTOL, Va. — Police continued to investigate a man's shooting that happened earlier this week, and investigators had been unable to glean much from the victim.
Police were not even sure where or when Adam Brent Fleenor was shot or where than man lived.
The 31-year-old man was found near the intersection of Piedmont Avenue and Fairmount Avenue with a gunshot wound to his chest about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Fleenor had dialed 911 to summon help.
According to a police news release, Fleenor remained hospitalized and police had not been able to obtain any usable information from him. Police did not believe Fleenor was shot at the intersection, which is adjacent to Virginia Middle School.
