Johnson City police this morning announced a second arrest in an East Pine Street burglary.
Carmen Harkness, 31, 901 Division St., was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for burglary.
Police said the burglary was reported July 9 at 110 E. Pine St., where the residence's owner came home and found two people he knew. The burglars fled with property belonging to the owner before police arrived.
Warrants were obtained for both shortly after the burglary. Troy Avery, 41, 1201 Division St., was arrested shortly after the incident occurred.
Avery and Harkness were jailed on $10,000 bond each. Avery appeared in Sessions Court on July 11, and Harkness had a hearing scheduled after her arrest Tuesday.
