On Wednesday, the law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz will present “Workers’ Compensation.” This event is the third of six in the Baker Donelson Employment Law Briefing Series of monthly breakfast briefings focused on recent developments in labor and employment law.
Designed as an introduction to the most common issues that human resources professionals address on a routine basis, each briefing focuses on one of six fundamental areas of employment law. Topics at future briefings in the series include discrimination in the workplace, the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.
“Workers’ Compensation” will be held at Coffee Company in Elizabethton, 444 E. Elk Ave., from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. The event is free and breakfast will be provided. This program has been approved for one hour of HR Certification Institute credit. For more information or to register for the event, call Laralee Harkleroad at 928-0181 or email
