Holston Valley Broadcasting Corp. elects two VPs

The Board of Directors of Holston Valley Broadcasting Corp. elected two new vice presidents at its annual meeting on June 30: Bob Haywood, vice president/local sales manager – television; and Lamar Reid, vice president/general sales manager – television.
Haywood joined Holston in 1979 and was the TV sports director for decades, moving to television advertising sales in 2002. Reid joined Holston in 2009 following decades of experience in television advertising sales elsewhere, including seven years as general sales manager of WJHL in Johnson City.
Other officers re-elected at Friday’s meeting were Bill Boyd, chairman; George DeVault, president; David Widener, executive vice president - radio; Charlie Aesque, VP/AM radio aales – Tri-Cities; Anita Dixon, VP/Marion radio division; Fred Falin, VP/TV programming and operations; Bette Lawson, VP/treasurer; Tim Loy, VP/FM sales – Tri-Cities; and Paula Snodgrass, secretary.
