Bluff City man jailed after deputies find pills, meth ingredients

BLOUNTVILLE — A Bluff City man has been arrested after police reportedly discovered drugs and the ingredients for meth in his home.

A press release from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office says a call was received regarding suspicious activity at 268 Fox Hollow Lane. Officers responded to speak with the resident, Darrell Wayne Nance, 48, who allegedly consented to a search of his home.

Police report locating a number of ingredients used in making methamphetamine, including pseudoephedrine, ammonia nitrate and lithium batters. More lithium batteries were reportedly located in a burn pile outside the home.
