NASHVILLE (AP) — A 41-year-old Clarksville woman was arrested at the Nashville airport after she became abusive to security officers who were trying to screen her daughter, according to a police affidavit.
Andrea Abbott initially refused to let the officers screen the girl on Saturday afternoon, telling them she did not want her daughter to be "touched inappropriately" or have her "crotch grabbed," The Tennessean reported.
She eventually let her daughter be screened, but tried to film it with her cell phone.
When airport police told her to stop, she became belligerent and uncooperative.
Police arrested her and charged her with disorderly conduct.
She was released on $500 bond the same day. Court records do not list an attorney for Abbott and the telephone directory lists a number that is out of service.
