A man wanted on two warrants of manufacturing methamphetamine and one for possession of precursors to manufacture methamphetamine in Lee County, Virginia, was picked up by police in Johnson City Saturday.
According to a news release from the Johnson City Police Department, Billy E. Posey Jr., 43, no address listed, was arrested after 911 calls were received stating an intoxicated man was walking in the middle of Veterans Way. When officers found Posey, he was not wearing a shirt or shoes and had only one sock on his feet. He was leaning on a vehicle that did not belong to him.
Posey was arrested after officers learned about his active warrants.
He was being held at the Washington County Detention Center and will have a bond hearing in Sessions Court on Monday at 1:30 p.m.comments powered by Disqus
