Manhunt: Murder suspect sought after 1 killed in Kingsport shooting, 2nd victim critical

KINGSPORT — A Monday night shooting in Kingsport has left one man dead and another in critical condition, with police saying a suspect has been identified but not yet located.

The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. at 818 Dale St. Kingsport patrol officers responded to learn that one victim, Brandon D. Harris, 24, had already been transported to the hospital by a private vehicle. A second man, Marc T. Woodbury, 23 , was lying in the backyard of the residence.

According to Kingsport Police Department Public Information Tom Patton, Woodbury was transported by EMS to Holston Valley Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries. Harris reportedly sustained non-life threatening injuries and underwent surgery. As of Tuesday morning he was in critical condition.

Police have identified a Kingsport man as a suspect in the shooting, adding that warrants have already been obtained for his arrest. Patton reports that Lucky Anthony "Ant" Ross, 37, of 5059 Lake Forest Drive, should be considered armed and dangerous.
