Bristol, Va., store allegedly robbed at gunpoint

BRISTOL, Va. — Police are looking for two men after a store was reported to be robbed Wednesday evening.

According to a news release from the Bristol Virginia Police Department, police said the clerk on duty at the Country Boy Market, 1301 Lee Highway was held up for money by two men at around 10 p.m. The report says two males entered the store, one wearing a black zip up hooded jacket, possible a Northface, a ball cap, white bandana across his face, blue jeans and white sneakers, and the other wearing a navy blue zip-up hooded jacket, red bandana across his face, blue jeans and a loafer-like shoe and demanded an undetermined amount of cash.

Following the robbery, the suspects fled from the north side of the building and the clerk was not injured in the incident.

K-9 Kane was called to the scene to track the suspects. No photos or videos were available at the time the report was put together, though they will be released if they become available, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the BVPD at 276-645-7400 and speak with Detective Robin McCoy.
