Dress appropriately

Dress appropriately

I am disgusted at the way most people dress these days. I get upset when I see pretty little girls dressed in provocative dresses that are too sexy for children. To me this is very dangerous in this day and time.
They are children, let them dress like children. I am tired of seeing women wearing sweats, big shirts and sloppy looking pants, no make up and unruly hair. Some of these items can be worn to ball games, but when we go out we should look our best at work, out shopping, going out for a nice meal and especially at church.
I was brought up in a time when our church clothes were called our “Sunday clothes” and this was the only time we could wear them.
Men and boys also need to pay attention to what they wear.
I realize there are jobs where jeans and T-shirts are warranted. If you work with the public, however, you should dress in pantsuits and dresses. You are representing your employer or county, city, state or federal government.
No matter what clothes you wear, they should be clean and neat. The low-bagged jeans are simply a cry for attention, but what kind of attention?
I worked many years and I always tried to look my best for myself and the company I represented.
