KINGSPORT — Developer Stewart Taylor has renamed his planned regional commercial project and appointed a new tenant recruiter.

In March 2013, Taylor announced plans for Heritage Point Towne Center, a prospective shopping complex with one million square feet of retail, entertainment and dining facilities at the Interstate 81/26 interchange.

The development is now called Tri-Cities Crossing while grading on the site nears completion, members of the Kingsport Economic Development Board were told by members of Taylor's team at their last meeting.

Our partners at the Kingsport Times-News have more on Tri-Cities Crossing.
