Police said a traffic stop resulted in a Chattanooga man’s arrest on drug-related charges.
On Saturday, Johnson City police arrested Cedric Carr, 28, 216 Water St., after he had been pulled over.
In a press release, police said they stopped Carr – though they did not specify as to why – and, after they approached the vehicle, saw that he had schedule II and VI drugs in the car with him. Police also said Carr had a “large sum” of money that was being stored in a manner “consistent with the sale of narcotics.”
Carr was charged with possession of schedule II drugs for resale, simple possession of schedule VI drugs, and failure to display registration. He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where he was being held on an $11,000 bond. He will appear in Sessions Court Monday afternoon to face his charges.comments powered by Disqus
