Police say they found woman with knife, crowbar outside Johnson City residence

April Guinn

Johnson City police found a woman holding a crowbar and a 10-inch knife and cursing outside a Lamont Street residence early this morning after she broke out a window there, resulting in her arrest, police said.

April Guinn, 21, no address available, was taken to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment of self-inflicted injuries before she was taken to jail.

Police were called to 428 Lamont St. about 1:20 a.m. on a trespassing report and learned on the way that a woman was breaking glass on the back door at the residence. Police found Guinn standing behind the residence with the crowbar and the knife and cursing toward the building.

She was charged with vandalism over $500 and unlawful possession of a weapon. She was held in the Washington County Detention Center on $11,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.
