Off the Wall News: Tennessee high schooler charged with making false 911 calls ... again

NASHVILLE — An 18-year-old from Nashville has been charged with making 108 false calls to 911, making it the second time this year she's faced the complaint.

Police arrested Diamond T. Hodges last week at Maplewood High School in east Nashville and charged her with aggravated making a non-emergency 911 call.

The Tennessean reported that the calls started coming from Hodges at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday and continued into Thursday.

Police say Hodges' phone number made 86 false calls to dispatchers in a 24-hour period.

The sounds of squeaking gym shoes and bouncing basketballs led officers to the high school gym.

Police cited Hodges on Feb. 10 after she made 31 hang-up calls to 911 in one morning.

Her bond is set at $15,000 and she is due in court April 16.
