It is with gratefulness and pleasure I recommend Tom Krieger for Washington County commissioner in the 6th District. Tom and I have worked together on the Coalition for Kids Board for 10-plus years as well as serving for United Way and Salvation Army. I have always been impressed with his passion for others, faith and fellowship as well as his prospective on issues we are often faced with inside and outside of organizational work. His work ethic is of the highest level and the hours he contributes not only to Washington County, but Johnson City and the entire surrounding area, have been limitless.
As we consider the candidates for our local positions and who we would like to serve and represent us. I know, without a doubt, Tom Krieger will be fair, compassionate, wise and firm on the issues at hand. He exemplifies eagerness to do the right thing and will always have our best interest in mind representing the people and community of the 6th District.
Tom has earned many awards and recognition for his service to organizations right here in our communities. He’s been vice chair of East Tennessee State University Foundation and the Roan Scholars Leadership Program, a founding Board member and executive for Coalition for Kids, 26-year board member for Salvation Army, a founding chair for Ronald McDonald House and board member for Jonesborough Kiwanis. These are just some of the organizations he has or currently serves.
I invite the citizens of Washington County’s 6th District to make a point to meet Krieger and experience the person I have quickly described here. Once you have done that, voting for him will be an easy decision. He will lead, guide and help the community thrive and prosper as well as work well with citizens and other leaders for the good of all.
