A Jonesborough woman who was arrested for drunken driving - while, police said, she had children in her car - will appear in Sessions Court this week to face her charges.
On March 18, police arrested Ashley N. Hatley, 31, 259 Miller Road, after pulling her car over near the intersection of West Market Street and Indian Ridge Road.
During the traffic stop, which occurred at about 11 p.m., police said Hatley was intoxicated and two “small children” were in the back seat of her car. Police said they also learned Hatley’s license had been suspended for failure to pay citations.
Hatley was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a suspended driver’s license, and two counts of reckless endangerment. She was taken to the Washington County Detention Center, where she was held on a $22,000 bond.
Hatley was arraigned in Sessions Court on March 19, and will return to court Wednesday morning to face her charges.comments powered by Disqus
