Thomas Hopkins, 52, and Amber Stuart, 32.
The final two of four suspects have been arrested in Sunday's alleged beating and attempted murder of a Sullivan County man.
Thomas Hopkins, 52, and Amber Stuart, 32, were apprehended Tuesday evening by officers with the Washington County, Va., Sheriff's Office. The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office reports information was received that they could be at a residence on Sinking Springs Road in Bristol, Va., with police responding to locate Stuart. She's charged with aggravated assault.
Hopkins, who was wanted for both aggravated assault and attempted first-degree murder, was located a short time later driving a vehicle. Washington County deputies conducted a stop and took him into custody. The arrests of Stuart and
Hopkins stem from the Sunday morning beating of a man at their Sullivan County home, 809 Wyatt Hollow Road. The victim also lived at the residence, with police saying Hopkins is the father of his fiancee.
