Johnson City police release images of pharmacy robbery

Johnson City police have released surveillance images of a gunman who robbed a North Roan Street pharmacy on Monday.

Police said that at around 5 p.m. Monday, a masked gunman stole an undetermined amount of prescription medication from The Medicine Shoppe (Bevins Pharmacy), 1301 N. Roan St.

After threatening the clerk with a pistol, police said, the man took drugs, exited the store and left in a vehicle silver colored Dodge Dakota pickup. Police said the man was wearing blue jeans, an olive green colored jacket with a hood, dark colored shirt, a black mask and sunglasses.
