Criminal complaint says former Alexander aide bought, tried to distribute child porn

U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander’s former chief of staff bought DVDs from a movie production company whose films typically “feature nude young boys” and attempted to share a pornographic film from a peer-to-peer file-sharing network, according to a criminal complaint filed by the U.S. Department of Justice today.

Ryan Loskarn made several purchases from the movie production company between November 2010 and March 2011, according to the complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C.

And an Internet address identified with Loskarn’s residence was connected to a sexually explicit 28-minute video involving a girl between the ages of 6 and 9 and an adult male, an investigation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service found.

The video file was “offered for download on October 5, 2013 from Loskarn’s IP address,” the document says.
