I swear, I’m an undercover narc. Hospital security reported to Johnson City police that a man flashed a badge and claimed he was working as a narcotics investigator with an area sheriff’s department. After that department was contacted, police learned that the man did not work for them for the last three years, and should not have a badge. When the man presented the police with the badge, they learned it was fake and he made it from a Fraternal Order of Police license plate.

Not-so-subtle warning. A local man said he was at a gas station when two white men dragged him from vehicle and put him in the back of a pickup truck.
