A Greeneville woman tried using a relative's identity to order drugs from a Johnson City Walmart pharmacy, resulting in her arrest on Tuesday, police said.

Brenda Paige Shipley, 49, 340 Pyburn Lane, Greeneville, was charged with obtaining narcotics by fraud.

Police said Shipley called the Walmart Pharmacy at 3111 Browns Mill Road on Thursday and attempted to order medications using the personal information from a relative for her personal use.

Shipley was jailed in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance today.
