Butler man accused of using expired prescription to get pills

Johnson City police arrested a Butler man Friday on a drug fraud charge after incidents at a local retail pharmacy.


Freddie R. Mooney, 48, 4564 Pine Orchard Road, Butler, was accused of using expired prescriptions to get Hydrocodone pills from the Walgreens Pharmacy at 1914 S. Roan St.


Police said Mooney renewed the prescription fraudulently and picked up medications June 6, July 7 and Aug. 4.


Mooney was held in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond pending a Sessions Court appearance Monday.
