Police arrested a Johnson City man after it appeared like he conducted a drug deal Tuesday.
According to a Johnson City Police Department news release, investigators checked out a suspicious vehicle after Koron Fairley, 28, 1484 Milligan Highway, had allegedly conducted a crack cocaine deal with its occupants. Police said after they placed Fairley in handcuffs, he fled on foot until he was apprehended again.
Officers said they found additional crack cocaine on Fairley’s person.
He was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he was being held on a $20,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for 9 this morning in Sessions Court.
