Two sought in West Market St. pharmacy robbery


Johnson City police were looking for two white males after a local pharmacy was robbed Friday afternoon.


According to a police news release, West Towne Pharmacy, 1619 W. Market St., was robbed by the men, who demanded narcotics from store employees, just before 2 p.m. No information was given about any weapons that might have been used in the robbery, or which drugs the men took.


One man was described as wearing blue jeans and a white long-sleeve shirt. The other man was reportedly wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored shirt.


Police are asking anyone with information pertaining to the robbery to call the JCPD Criminal Investigation Division at 434-6166, Crimestoppers at 434-6158 or report anonymously by texting 423JCPD to 847411 (TIP411).
