KINGSPORT — Police have released surveillance images from Dobyns-Bennett High School, saying the individuals pictured vandalized the facility with obscene graffiti, along with stealing cash and ice cream.

Kingsport Police Department Public Information Officer Tom Patton reports the suspects entered through the Little Theater area of the campus, 1800 Legion Drive, where a door was left unsecured. From approximately midnight to 3 a.m. Thursday they were in the school, according to police, before exiting at the other end of the facility.

Over that period of time, the duo is suspected of using permanent magic markers to vandalize various walls and doors inside the school. Kingsport police have categorized the graffiti as "obscene."
