2 ETSU students accused of altering prescription

Two East Tennessee Student University students were arrested Wednesday on charges that they altered a prescription to obtain narcotics from a local retail pharmacy.

Ji Park, 20, and Heewon Eom, 21, both of Governors Hall, 1385 Gilbreath Drive, ETSU, were arrested after a Johnson City police investigation into an altered prescription at Kroger's pharmacy, 1805 W. State of Franklin Road.

Park and Eom were charged with obtaining narcotics by fraud and held in the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond each. They were arraigned on the charges Thursday.
