Police: Drunken man trespassed, threatened resident with knife

Robert Guinn

A 42-year-old man was arrested Thursday on charges that he threatened another man with a knife while trespassing and intoxicated.

Robert W. Guinn, general delivery, Johnson City, was charged him with aggravated assault, aggravated criminal trespassing and public intoxication.

About 10:30 p.m., police were called to 832 Hamilton Street after a man reported that Guinn came in the residence and threatened him with a knife. Guinn had previously been arrested for trespassing at the same residence.

Guinn was held in the Washington County Detention Center on $16,500 bond pending arraignment Monday in Sessions Court.
