A burglarized law office building left four local attorneys missing $11,000 worth of office equipment last month, a Johnson City Police incident report said.
The break-in happened at 128 E. Market St., where attorneys Don Spurrell, Jeff Johnson, Jim Bowman and Donna Bolton all have offices. According to the report, the break-in occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 27 and 8:30 a.m. Sept. 30. Police were called to the building after another person noticed someone had broken in.
Police said the suspect or suspects entered the building through an outdoor utility room, then climbed up and broke through the ceiling and out a side wall.
Items stolen included three laptop computers, computer accessories, an American Arms derringer, presidential dollar coins, a DVD player, two cameras, cash and liquor.
The report does not say if there are any known suspects at this time. Anyone with information about the burglary can call the police department at 434-6166.
