A 74-year-old Greeneville man died in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department said Ray McIntosh was attempting to turn left in his 1986 Volkswagen when he turned into a Mack dump truck driven by 56-year-old Vance Pierce, from Bulls Gap, on Highway 351. McIntosh died of injuries from the crash, and Pierce was uninjured.
Although McIntosh was not wearing a seat belt, the Tennessee Highway Patrol determined it would not have made a difference in the accident.
No criminal charges or citations have been issued.
