Kingsport woman charged with TennCare fraud for doctor shopping

A Kingsport woman has been charged with TennCare fraud after doctor shopping, the Office of Inspector General announced today. 

Marty A. Mullins, 34, Kingsport, is charged with fraudulently using TennCare to obtain controlled substances by doctor shopping, using TennCare to pay for the physician visits and/or the prescriptions. She is also charged with selling buprenorphine. 

Mullins is alleged to have used TennCare to go to multiple doctors to obtain controlled substances. She is also alleged to have sold the drugs.
