TOWNSEND — Campers in Cades Cove Tuesday morning were awaiting word on whether they would have to leave because of the congressional stalemate that has caused a government shutdown.
“I have not heard anything yet,” said camper Andrew Carrigan, who was staying with his wife, “Bobbi” Carrigan, in the Cades Cove Campground.
