ELIZABETHTON — A burglary and vandalism case at CrossPointe Fellowship Church on Parkway Boulevard was reported over the weekend.
Pastor Harold Mains told Officer Jon Frazier that someone had come into the church and turned the thermostat to 99 degrees and turned on all the water faucets. He said someone had also exchanged places on a wall of a picture and a cross.
Mains also said a piggy bank in the shape of a church was also missing. He said it contained about $50.
Frazier said no damage was found to the church building and there were no signs of forced entry.
