Time Sawyer, a folk rock band interested in “real people and real songs,” will be performing at the Acoustic Coffeehouse, 415 W. Walnut St., tonight at 10 p.m. Time Sawyer just released their fourth studio album, “Headed Home,” with memorable lyrics and strong melodies which result in songs that will stay in your head long after the music stops. www.acousticcoffeehouse.net.

“Good Ol Girls” musical revue is now on the Barter Theatre main stage for a limited run through Sept. 7. Six women rock the house with songs about first love, last chances and all the good stuff in between. Regular ticket prices are $32, $35 and $40. Sons of Bluegrass plays Music on the Square tonight at 7 on the Courthouse steps in downtown Jonesborough. Current members Chris Armstrong, Cameron Owens, Meade Richter, Michael Gunter and Dan “Danjo” Troyer are all Bluegrass majors at East Tennessee State University. www.musiconthesquare.com.
