Update: Police release images from armed robbery of Boones Creek Pharmacy

Police have released video surveillance images from the armed robbery of a north Johnson City pharmacy.

The man showed a gun and demanded narcotic from Boones Creek Pharmacy, 729 North Roan St., Suite 2, police said.

The man was described as white and 6 feet tall. He weighed about 200 pounds and was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a camouflage ball cap.

No one was hurt.

A Johnson City pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.

Johnson City Police Lt. Steve Sherfey said a man went in to Boones Creek Pharmacy, 4729 North Roan St., Suite 2, with a gun. Sherfey declined to say what the man took.

The man was described as white and six feet tall. He weighed about 200 pounds and was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap.

No one was hurt.
